The “Crack Hill”, a hill located directly on the Paris ring road and just a few hundred meters from Porte de la Chapelle, has existed for 20 years. It has been cleared by the police more than fifteen times.
Hundreds of addicts gather here every day to buy and smoke crack cocaine. But this place of hopelessness is also home to Charlot, Farida, Melanie and MC, who all deal with their problems and their addiction in their own way.
The special thing about it is that MC, the protagonist of this story, recites his thoughts as a rap. The chanting thumps and hammers through this reportage and takes the reader into the harsh reality of the French metropolis.
